Getting Started

Setting up FFL finder on your Odoo store involves a few steps:

1. Get the module from Odoo Apps

The CloudFFL module is available on the Odoo Apps store for Odoo 17, with versions 18 and 19 coming soon.

2. Sign up for CloudFFL

Create your CloudFFL account to get your API key. Plans start at $69/month. The module requires an active API subscription.

3. Install and configure

Install the module in your Odoo instance. Go to Settings → CloudFFL and enter your API key. The module handles the rest automatically.

4. Mark products as FFL-required

Edit your product templates and enable the "Requires FFL" field for firearms. You can also set this at the category level for bulk configuration.

5. Test checkout

Add an FFL-required product to your cart and go through checkout. The FFL finder should appear, allowing customers to search and select a dealer.

Backend Staff Wizard

For phone orders, your staff can use the backend wizard to search for FFLs and attach them to sales orders directly from the Odoo backend.

• Search for FFLs using the same search as customers
• View dealer details including license info and contact
• Assign an FFL to any sales order in one click

Ammo Gate Configuration

Configure state-by-state ammunition transfer requirements directly in the module settings:

• Select which states require FFL transfer for ammo
• Set rules by Odoo web categories
• Customers in restricted states automatically see the FFL finder for ammo orders
